About Northwest Wood Art
We are an E-Commerce based artists co-operative that functions to showcase and sell art and craft objects. The artists presented are like minded friends who enjoy one another’s friendship and shared ideas. We are active and involved members of Northwest Washington Woodturners, a local guild, and the American Association of Woodturners, a national body.
All of us live on Fidalgo Island, Washington which is part of the San Juan archipelago of 135 islands. The woods that we use are usually native to Washington and have been salvaged. These are trees that have been storm damanged or are passed maturity and afflicted such that they require removal.
Northwest Wood Art has several artists whose work is displayed in our gallery and can be purchased through this site.
